He was predeceased by: his father Laverne Carlson; and his brother Larry Carlson. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Carlson (Genther); his wife Vickie Carlson; and his siblings, Barry Carlson (Vicky), Paula Stites (Burt) and Lorie Bale (Derek). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
