With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Madeline Carr of Munising, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William LaFave and Elizabeth LaFave (Hebert); her husband John Carr; her daughter Mary Ruth Carr; her siblings, Derilda Tussing, Exilda Theaker, Dorothy Swajanen, Jean Paananen, Robert "Mogie", Lawrence "Stowe", Ernie "Shorty" and Jack LaFave; her parents-in-law, Louis and Francis Carr; and her in-laws, Lud Carr (Helen), Louie Carr (Vera), Frank Carr (Irma), Josephine Petterson (Warren), Mary Carr, Sylvia Bartol (Bob) and Antonia Carr.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rosenbaum (Lee) of Portland, OR, John Carr (Trina) of Christmas, MI and Lori Mitchell (Ken) of Forest Grove, OR; her grandchildren, Rachel Rosenbaum (Dominic Brown), David Rosenbaum and Arthur Oas (Paola); and her sister-in-law Norma LaFave. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
