With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Sappington of Munising, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Sappington; her siblings, Eva Thayer, Jeanne Carberry and Bud LaFlamme; and her son-in-law Mark DePlanche.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl DePlanche of Negaunee and Jeanne Sappington of Marquette; her sister Nancy Prunick of Munising; her grandchildren, Kim Cook (Jack Sohns), Linda Charboneau (Tom), Bob Cook (Jacqui) and John Greis; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Nikki, Diana, Sara, Bobby, Grace, Ryan, Emily, John and Katelyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
