It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millie Kirgis (Mount Clemens, Michigan), born in Red Ash, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Omie Jessie, Emilee Proffitt, Cora Absher, Virginia Davis, Mary Lou Steel, Dorie Wells, William Jessie, Ruby Gilbert and Sterling Jessie.
She is survived by: her son Tony Jessie (Melissa); her grandchildren, Amanda Rogan (Donnel), Aaron Jessie, Danielle Gross (Adam), Joshua Cooke (Shania) and Jonathan Cooke; her great grandchild Jordan of Jaylen, DJ.; and her sister Lula Forehand (Larry Carpenter). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
