It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P Engelgau of Mount Clemens, Michigan, born in Saint Clair, Michigan, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fauster Engelgau and Magdeline Engelgau; and his wife Mary Ellin Baker. He is survived by: his children, Steven Engelgau (Ann), Jeanne Healy (Pat), Linda Land (Scott) and Charlene Durham (David); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Eric Land, Sydney and Maxwell Durham.

Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others. A private service will follow the visitation at 7 p. m. Tuesday.

Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
