She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Rasmussen and Rita Rasmussen; and her siblings, Lewis Rasmussen, Marianna Olson (Al) and Jeanne Dart (Terry).
She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Winkler; her children, Adam (April), Alexandra Houston (Hans) and Neil Winkler, MD (Laurie); her sisters, Eleanor Korroch (Arthur) and Joyce Berzins (George); her grandsons, Nelson Winkler, MD (Erin), Max Winkler, MD (Jillian), Nathaniel Winkler and Jacob Winkler; and her great grandchildren, Florence and William.
Memorial donations in memory of Elaine may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
