He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haas and Ruth Haas (Britten); his daughters, Kitti Morey and Tammy Hamper; his grandchildren, Bradley Haas, Dylan Sykes, Adam Haas and Grace; and his sister Ardis Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude; his children, David Haas (Nancy) of Morrice, Gordon Haas (Dawn) of Bancroft, Tracey Sims (Thomas) of Laingsburg, Theresa Jo Rainey (Patrick), Kevin Morey, Kelli Markell (Andy) of Farwell, MI and Kay Morey (John Patterson) of Eaton Rapids; and his sisters, Janet Bixler (Dick) of Portland, OR, Ann Voorhees of Lakeland, FL, Sandra Dempsey (David) of Lakeland, FL and Joan Sauer (Terry) of Washington. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
