It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Hoffman of Montague, Michigan, born in Shelby, Michigan, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bruening and Clara Bruening (Miller); her husband Douglas C. Hoffman of Montague; her son Joseph; her sister Lois Mills; her stepfather George Thiel; and her nephew Gary Mills.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Robert Mills (Janell), Jim Mills, Patricia Wangerin (James), Bev Mills, Janet Bortfeldt (Mike), Marilyn Mills, Joanne Kessler (Rex) and Carol Mills (Paul Kissel); and her friend Bryan VanNett.
