She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles and Gretchen. She is survived by: her sister Judith Schecter (Charles) of Davison; her nephew Charles Schecter IV of Goodrich; and her niece Jodi Schecter of Davison. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society or ARC of Muskegon.
