She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Jessie (Vanderberg); and her brothers, Darrell, Raymond and Rolland Boettcher.

She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Seaman; her children, Virgil (Hoa), Jan Seaman of Folsom and Carol Hendrie (Greg) of Fremont, Michigan; her granddaughter Kayla Hendrie of Fremont, Michigan; and her sister Mavis Thompson of Glenwood.
