He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Flagstead and Elizabeth Flagstead; his son Chuck; his brother Harold; and his pet Sassy.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Frank Flagstead; and his grandchildren, Casey Flagstead, Rachel Harrie (Kevin) and Emmalee Flagstead.
