He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Sortor and Florabell Sortor (Miller); his granddaughter Lily Mae; and his sisters-in-law, Chong Cha Sortor and Almyra "Sis" Sortor.
He is survived by: his daughter Tiffani Gregg of Wyandotte, MI; his brothers, Ronald Sortor of Curtisville, MI, Larry Sortor (Kay) of Monroe, Gary Sortor of Monroe, Brad Sortor of Lewiston, MI and Keith Sortor (Janet) of Erie, MI; and his grandson Cristofer. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
