He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Zanger and Maria Zanger (Pagelli); his siblings, Mary Cusumano, Josephine Brusca, Antonio Zanger and Santo Zangara; and his siblings-in-law, Benny Brusca and Maddalena Zanger.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his children, Jack Zanger of Monroe, Karen Langermann (Lou) of Winter Garden, FL, Patty Zanger of Monroe and Teresa Mayne (Rick) of Newport; his brothers, Michael Zangara (Antoinette) and Dominic Zanger; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Zanger and Judy Zangara; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Justin, Louis IV, Hillary, Kristen, Pete and Jeffrey. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pete's memory are suggested to VFW Post 1138, Monroe.
