He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Boboltz and Helen Boboltz (Becker); his wife Ruth Kautz; his brother David Boboltz; his sister-in-law Florence Boboltz; and his nephew Gregory Boboltz.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hornby (Roger) and Scott Boboltz (Jamie Moore); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Ingraham (Eric), Angela Mapes (Aleks Kesellman), Sara Boboltz, Andrew Boboltz and Matthew Boboltz; and his sister Kristine Waskiewicz (Stanley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude's Children's Hospital or by making a donation to Messiah Lutheran Church.
