He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abbott and Jean Abbott (Aimer); his wife Sharron Louise Harris; his son-in-law Ron VanAnda; and his brother-in-law Joel Vanderwall.
He is survived by: his children, John Abbott (Lisa), David Abbott and Sara VanAnda; his grandchildren, Eliana, Megan and Grace; and his sister Kay Vanderwall.
