He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Saenz and Helena Saenz; his daughter Kirsten; his granddaughters, Harper, Reese and Scarlet; and his siblings, Ruben Saenz and Elvia Dealmar.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Sue DeGroat; his children, Herb and Allison (Mark Hammond); his son-in-law Mark Hammond II; his son Owen Hammond; his grandson Owen Hammond; and his siblings, Elia Del Valle, Mario Saenz (Nancy Saenz), Adela Burrola, Preston Saenz (Vicky Saenz), Ricky Saenz, Arthur Saenz and Sylvia Ortiz (Rudy Ortiz).
