She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Doering and Viola Doering (King); her husband S. Reid Tait; and her sisters, Corrinne Hurt and Wilma McClarty.
She is survived by: her siblings, Geraldine DiDonato and Al Doering; and her children, Stanton of Nashville, TN, Bradley (Jill) of North Andover, MA, Shannon Houda (Steve) of Glen Ellyn, IL and Weston of Portage, IN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
