He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Haas and Vivian Haas; his son Gary; his wives, Genevieve LaBombard and Ana; and his sister Phyllis Shearer.
He is survived by: his cousins, Ted, Carroll and Art; his children, Nikki, Paul Haas (Roberta) of Plainwell, Don Haas (Midge) of St. Charles, MO, Barbara Hornacek (Paul) of Three Rivers, Cyndi Haas (Steve Richards) of Vicksburg, Brenda Haas (Steve Morgan) of Flint and Nicole Asher (Jay) of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Genevieve Poglese (Neil), Michael Haas, Norman Cupp (Gillian), Ted Cupp (Tabatha), Katie Bagley (Nate), Robby Haas (Erin), Michaelene Jester (Anthony), Lucy Rumery (Kristin Trachet), Kacey Jester (Jenny) of Brian Jester, P. J., Dr. Nicholas Asher (Henna) and Eston Asher IV; and his sister Shirley Bunce. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to either St. Edward Catholic Church, or to Glen Oaks Community College.
