He is survived by: his wife Doris Thornton; his children, Leon Thornton (Lynne), Robert Thornton, Jackie Reda (Randy Schefka), Don Thornton (Frances) and Duncan Thornton (Hope); his grandchildren, Trent Reda, Deanna Hill (Michael), Ashlyn Dawson (Jacob), Bradley Thornton, Leah Bakewell (Zach) and Taryn Thornton; his great grandchildren, Henry, Mark Hill, Penelope, Ledger Dawson and Nautica Thornton; his siblings, Nadene Miller, Leah Robbins, Daniel Thornton (Vicki) and Donald Thornton (Bonnie); and his sister-in-law Winifred Thornton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
