It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Daniel Dennis of Mayville, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Dennis and Ada Dennis (Middleton); his siblings, Onalee and Bruce Dennis (Joan); his siblings-in-law, Butch Cummings and Marilyn Dennis; his nieces, Heidi and Kelly; his in-laws, Ward and Viola Smith; his brother Buck; and his sister-in-law Doris Rutenbar.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith; his children, Dan Dennis (Gloria), Scott Dennis (Laura) and Kristine Raby (Butch); his grandchildren, Jimmy Beyerlein (Heather), Kristal Baker, Kadee Raby, Wayne Dennis (Doni), Crystal Dennis (Kelly), Samantha Murphy (Dylan), Brandon Raby, Robert Raby and Matthew Raby; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Spencer, Shayla, Seth, Tanner, Kinsley, Emma, Hunter, Dalton, Cole and Clair; his siblings, Jim Dennis, JoAnn Cummings, Richard Dennis (Cindy) and Jennie Reuther (Bud); and his brother-in-law Lynn Smith (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
