He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Jane Walker; his grandson Jason Rumph; his son-in-law Kevin Hecht; his siblings, Ralph (Margaret), Walter (Gwendolyn), Leonard (Theo), Howard (Frances) and Wanda Marshall (Harold); and his siblings-in-law, James Brief Sr., James Spannagel, Gayland Cryderman, Keith Walker and Carol Bodeis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Weiss (Michael) of Frankenmuth, Krystal LaBair (Mitchell) of Mayville and Kimberly Arnold (Ronald) of Caro; his siblings, Clare Bodeis (Ruth) of Beaverton and Ida Richmond of Caro; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Brief, Ann Spannagel, Carrol Cryderman, Carolyn Walker and Gary Bodeis; and his grandchildren, Julie Weiss, Jeremy Weiss (Jolene), Jeffrey Weiss (Ronda), Carla Schultz (Paul), Seth LaBair (Missy), Sarah Brockett (Steve), Andy Hecht (Allison) and Matthew Hecht (Vanessa). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Luke's Lutheran School of Vassar, or Michigan Lutheran Seminary of Saginaw.
