He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Brenda, Harry J. (Careen), Mike (Lisa), Jill and Joan (Brenda); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Ethin, Kyle (Kitty), Lauren (Brad), Michael (Brian), Brandon, Bethany (Stephen), Debbie, Sara and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Maidene, Beatrix, Alexander and Ruby; and his siblings, Rosella Giddings and Jack Hercliff (Joan).

Richard had a heart for charity and helping others, including Relay for Life.
