It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton Lavern Uhl of Mayville, Michigan, born in Unionville, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Uhl and Lois Uhl (Kitchen); his former wife Ruth Turner Uhl; his grandson Keith; and his siblings, Francis and Edgar.

He is survived by: his wife Lee Uhl; his children, Dwight Uhl (Leeanna), Wendell Uhl (Christine), Jeanine Bartels (Robert), Randy Uhl (Melanie), Joyce Vroman (Ray), Gordon Uhl (Renee) and Curtis Uhl (Dominique); and his sister Leora. He is also survived by 57 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren.

Memorials me be made to the Juniata Christian School Endowment Foundation.

As you know Clayt and the twins were Inseparable during high school years. After I joined the Air Force Don became our primary contact. After Dons death I became eternally grateful as he so lovingly continued to speak about their relationship. We are now living in Texas so I didn’t know about Clayt’s death. I am Truly sorry.”
