He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Acord and Martha Louise Acord (Burkett); his children, Shawn Marie Acord, Brian Acord and Art Acord II; his siblings, James Acord and Allison Harrison; and his brother-in-law Don Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bryant; his child Ryan Acord (Samantha Taylor); and his siblings, Barbara Murphy (Joann Schupbach) and Herman (Vickie Acord). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
