It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen Duane Thorp of Mayville, Michigan, born in Caro, Michigan, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Thorp and Mary Thorp (Hawley); his son-in-law Andrew Garman; and his grandson Brian Garman. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McLeish; and his children, Machelle Garman of Lapeer, Laura (Dalton Pringle) and Allen II (Cassi Thorp). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and seven brothers and sisters.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Caro Assembly of God Church.
