He was predeceased by: his parents, June Berger (Brink) and Richard E. Berger; and his sister Eileen Wade (Charles Wade) of New York. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Rachel Whitehurst (Colin) and Sarah Berger; and his granddaughters, Margo and Stella Whitehurst.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his grandchildren's education fund in care of Diane Berger.
