It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene L. Rajala (Marquette, Michigan), born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Rodney; her granddaughter Beth Ann Rajala; and her siblings, Maxine Mattson and Donald Koehler. She is survived by: her husband Harry Rajala; her children, Peggy Dewitt (Jim Eckardt) of Marquette, Brian Rajala (Denise) of Waukesha, WI and Janice Johnstone (Gary) of Negaunee Township; her grandchildren, Michelle Parkkonen (Rodney), Sara Drummond (Craig), Kathy Dewitt, Joshua Rajala (Stephanie), Andrew Coombs (Megan), Megan Schober (Cory), Betsy Rajala (Quinn), Kylie Cortese (Giuseppe), Brandi Rajala, Keith Johnstone (Lindsay) and Kirsten Tedla (Endish); and her siblings-in-law, Kris Skoglund (Beverly) and Roberta Koehler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
