She was predeceased by: her brother Butch; and her parents, Navy Lt and Commander Willie. She is survived by: her husband Craig Tomlin; and her children, Jennifer Tranchida (Matt), Heather Vella (Joshua), Bryan Tomlin, Cheryl Tomlin, Lorie Tomlin and Kimberly Tomlin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
