He was predeceased by: his father Frederick LaLonde; and his siblings, Larry, Rodney, Fred and Barbara.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby M. Pierce; his children, Kenny, Barbara, Mark, Patrick, Joeylynn and Christopher; and his siblings, Keith, Shirley, Della and Beverly. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
