He was predeceased by: his father John Sr. Yost. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Yost; his sisters, Amy Yost and Judith Jennings; his son John F. Yost III; his wife Lori Maischein; his children, Joseph Parisi (Breana), Matthew Yost, Jaclyn Short (Steven) and Sean Yost (Sophia); and his grandchildren, Madlyn Yost, Yeager Yost and Eden Short. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
