He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne; his son John D. Ladensack; and his siblings, Carl, Duane, Joseph, George Ladensack, Dorothy Sumner, Mary Griffor and Clara Lipa.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Nancy Cole (Jim), Jim Ladensack and Chuck Ladensack (Judy); his daughter-in-law Leann Ladensack; his stepchildren, Bill Maitland, Suzanne Maitland, Tammi Graber (Tom), Lynn Defever (Keith), Rhonda Diethelm (Richard), Andy Maitland (Karen), Tom Maitland and Kathleen Miotke (Paul); and his siblings, Anna Dandron and August Ladensack (Carole). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
