George Perry Akers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Perry Akers of Manton, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Akers and Donald Akers; his wife Vickie Akers; his sister Fran; his brother-in-law Bill Jones; and his sister Marie Cendroski.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle "Mickie" Viox (Dan) and Robin Kunkel (Gail); his siblings, Annie Feagan (Roy), Don Akers (Carole) and Tom Akers (Barb); his grandchildren, Ashley Kunkel (Ryan), Lindsey Embrey (Jeremy), Adam Kunkel (Felicia), Nicholas Viox, Georgie Bump (Nate) and Olivia Kunkel (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Graci, Jax, Oliver, Nora, Brayden, Brody, Hailey, London, Nollie and Adaline; and his pet Bill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
