He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Earl Sr. and Emma Hepfer (Sinkhorn); his parents-in-law, LeRoy and Vicky Belcik; his brothers, Charles Hepfer and Daniel Scully; and his brother-in-law Gary Walker.
He is survived by: his spouse Sal (Belcik); his sons, Leonard Earl Hepfer III of Manistique, MI, Raymond LeRoy Hepfer (Jenny) of Brimley, MI and Harold John Hepfer (Vanice) of Mississippi; his granddaughters, Brittany Lee Hepfer (Michael Guillmette) of Manistique, MI and Angela Rose Hepfer of Manistique; his great grandchildren, Mason James Guillmette and Willow Joanne Guillmette; his sister-in-law Virginia "Ginger" Walker of Grand Ledge, MI; and his pets, Spuddy and Abby. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
