Ruth Closser Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Closser (Mancelona, Michigan), born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Ashton (Thomas) and Thomas R. Ashton; her husband George W. Closser; and her siblings, Don, Walt, Bob Ashton, Irene Ashton and Mildred Schultz.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Sparling (Harold) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Valerie Closser of Lakes, Susan Homan (Steve) of Caro, MI and George Closser Jr. of Lakes. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
