He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon Peters and Charlene Peters (Brookfield); and his sister Janice Coan. He is survived by: his brother John "Butch" Peters of Salem, IL; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Coan. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews.
