He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Metter and Marion Metter (DeFer); and his siblings, David and Dean Metter. He is survived by: his close friend Bearl Moses; and his siblings, Kenneth Metter (Janice), Jean Abbott (Howard), Joyce Voelker and Francis Metter (Susan).
