He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Hellenberg and Doris I.; his wife Lola Kaye; his siblings, Diane Jones and Gregory; and his sister-in-law Kathleen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cathy Hunley (John) and Linda Crabb (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
