He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Earls and Nannie Earls (Roach); his children, Janet (Turner) and Steven; and his grandson Sammy (Turner).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his son-in-law Jimmy Turner; and his children, Jack Earls (Marsha), Mike Earls (Summer), Lisa Lucka and Lenny Earls (Stacey). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
