We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 71, Gary Raymond McGillivray of Madison Heights, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn McGillivray and Fay McGillivray; his wife Diane Dotson; and his sister Carol Raptopolous. He is survived by: his aunt Barb Ackerman; his children, Andrew McGillivray and Amy Schroder (Josh); his granddaughter Matilda; his sisters, JoAnn Wakefield and Donna Nowak; and his close friend Dennis Hetchler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made at a future date as the family is in the process of forming the McGillivray Community Foundation.
