He was predeceased by: his parents, William Proof and Ruth Proof; his sister Lucille Donovan; and his wife Darlene Proof. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Merglewski (David); his grandchildren, Bridgette Allen, Nicholas Cluckey and David Merglewski Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Michael Allen III, Hunter Cluckey and Hailey-Cluckey. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and numerous friends.
