She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Shaw and Viola Shaw; her daughter Angela Cook; and her sisters, Dorothy and Zelma.

She is survived by: her husband Tommy Cook; her daughter Lisa Miller (Adam Rose); her granddaughter Jessica Miller; and her sisters, Helen "Dutch", Delores, Joellen and Pam. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
