It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Elizabeth Simonsen (Macomb, Michigan), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Simonsen; and her brother Stanley Joseph Sulewski. She is survived by: her parents, Stanley Sulewski and Irene Sulewski; her stepson Jan Simonsen (Nicole); her stepgrandchildren, Anthony and Alyssa; her sister Christine Sulewski; her nieces and nephews, Stas Sulewski (Abby) and Megan Sulewski; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Auden Sulewski and Elliott Sulewski; her mother-in-law Cecilia Simonsen; her close friend Theresa Frushour (Larry); and also, Nicole, Anthony and Alyssa. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
