He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malleis and Bernice Malleis (Jagodzinski); his former wife Rose Malleis; and his stepson David Golden. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Elaine Golden; his children, Joseph Malleis, Matthew Malleis (Kendra), Mark Malleis (Sherrie), Catherine Meiners (George), John Malleis (Jodie Sneller), Anna Malleis (Douglas Valladolid), Molly Casey, Margaret Malleis, Emily Malleis and Maureen Malleis; his stepchildren, Debra Drexler (Jeff), Janice Eisele (David) and Jason Jachimowicz (Eileen); and his brothers, Ron Malleis (Lisa), James Malleis and Michael Malleis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
