He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jackson and Margaret Jackson (Stafford); his wife Joyce Diane Viar; his siblings, Ott Emerson, Shelby, Roberta, Brenda and Mollie; and his grandson Jonathan.
He is survived by: his pet Virginia; his children, Angela Jackson and Rodger "Dale" Jackson, Jr. (Melissa); his stepdaughter Crystal Bolton (John); and his sisters, Linda (Michael), Georgetta and Marcia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
