He is survived by: his wife Sharon Weaver; his sons, Donald J. Thiede Jr. (Stacey) and Steve Thiede (Tara); his daughter-in-law Nicole Thiede; his grandchildren, Donald III, Thomas, Ryan, Maxwell, Samuel, Johnathan and Mason Thiede; and his siblings, Sandra Patton (Robert), Connie Damaska (Earl) and Tony Bastion.
