He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hoover and Opal Hoover; and his siblings, Dorna Westbrook (Russell), Vonda Westbrook (Jim), Dean Hoover, Fuzzy Hoover (Pat) and Henry Hoover (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Neva; his children, Donald Hoover of Cadillac, Loyal W. Hoover (Judy) of Boon, Ilene Howe (Greg) of Flint, Kevin Hoover (Billy Jo) of Cadillac and Norine Rothig (Dale) of Luther; and his sister Garnet Levadoski (Martin) of Ferry. He is also survived by 44 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
