It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorena Matilda Schmiedeknecht of Ludington, Michigan, born in Mears, Michigan, who passed away on November 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lars Pearson and Selma Pearson (Thorson); her former husband George Lindgren; and her great grandchild Skyla. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Schmiedeknecht; her children, Kenneth "Gus" Lindgren (Charlotte "Chuck") of Mears, David Lindgren (Sharon) of Mears, Faith Rankin (John) of South Dakota, Richard Lindgren of Mears and Michael Lindgren (Bridgette) of Hart; and her stepdaughters, Sandy Young and Kathy Tellier. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
