He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Garland and Norma Garland (Smith); and his siblings, Norma Jean Boldyreff and Michael Garland. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Marie Varenhorst; his daughter Jacki Garland of Ludington; and his stepsons, Michael Underwood II (Sarah) of Ludington and Joseph Underwood (Sarah) of Ludington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
