He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Louis and Myrna Joy Goulette (Sherman); and his grandparents, Clinton, Eva Sherman and Esther Goulette.

He is survived by: his wife Ginette Rojas-Goulette; his son Richard Louis "RJ" Goulette of Linden; and his brother Jeffrey Goulette (Sue) of Roscommon.
