He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony VandenBerg and Anne VandenBerg (Theule); his sister Judy VandenBerg; and his father-in-law Karl Schunter. He is survived by: his wife Lori Schunter; his children, Hanna and Michael VandenBerg (Chloe); his siblings, Shirley Dykema (Dave), Kathy Siebersma (Nolan), Sandy VandenBerge, Gary VandenBerg (Lois), Doug VandenBerge, Nancy Graverson (Scott), Carol Hughes (Thomas) and Cindy Langston (Hal); his mother-in-law Helga Schunter; and his brother-in-law Robert Schunter (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
